In this video, we will show you how easily and efficiently you can create certificates with Skriba. Whether you are a manager or in another position, our intuitive user interface allows you to generate professional work certificates in just a few steps. Tune in to find out how Skriba can make your workday easier.

Log in

  1. Go to your-company.skriba.ch and log in with your e-mail address and password.
  1. If you want to log in to Skriba for the first time and you have not received a password yet, you can click on Forgot your password?. You will receive an e-mail with further information on how to set your password.

Start certificate editing

  1. As a line manager, you will receive an e-mail as soon as a certificate is ready for editing. You can simply click on the link in the mail and load the relevant certificate.
  1. In your Skriba you can see completed certificates (done) that you were involved in as well as open certificates which require more work. Certificates that still need to be edited by you are marked as in progress or overdue. Select a relevant certificate to edit it.

Employee tasks

  1. The HR responsible prepares the certificate as far as possible. Subsequently, it is the line manager's responsibility to check/supplement the employee's tasks.

  1. Attention, if the employee has/had different functions, tasks can be selected for each function. The most current function is already selected.

  1. Click the Tasks tab and select the tasks that were performed by the employee.

  1. If the employee has performed an individual task, you can manually enter this task ion the right hand side at the bottom:

Overall evaluation

  1. Decide on the overall evaluation of the employee. The selection reflects the amount of recommended sentences. If a template exists for this function, it will be inserted with this selection.

  1. Professional / behavioural competencies and Social / personal competencies can always be assessed. For employees with a leadership function, Management competencies can also be assessed.

  1. Go through the competencies, select the different assessment criteria and select the statements that fit the employee. Once you have selected a statement, it will appear on the certificate preview on the right.

Conclusion part

  1. Once the evaluation is complete, you can select a reason for issuance under the Conclusion tab, as well as a thank you and future wishes.

  1. When you have finished editing the certificate, you can return it to the responsible HR specialist by clicking the Assign button. As soon as the certificate is completed by the HR, you can see them in your start screen. You can find the blue button under the progress log.

  1. If you have any requests for changes to the existing text or would like to make a comment to the HR manager, you can use the comment field for this purpose.

Download certificate

You have the possibility to download a certificate as PDF at any time. To do so, simply click on Download in the upper right corner. As long as the certificate is not finished, it will always contain a watermark. This allows you to present the certificate to the employee, so that they can provide feedback.

Manual text editing

In Skriba it is possible to overwrite the generated texts and to adjust them manually. However, this function is not available to you as a line manager. If you wish to make adjustments to the text, you can enter them in the comment field so that they can then be implemented in the certificate by the relevant HR specialist.

Why are no tasks visible in a function?
If no tasks are visible for a function, no tasks have been entered for this function yet. Please contact the relevant HR manager to discuss how to proceed.
